Gallery Wall design...

Finally after a year of thought and 100's of pins later I just went for it. I laid out my frames on the floor for the last time. I got the box of nails and the hammer and just went for it. I'll be honest I didn't follow the usual good tip I see to hang pieces of paper on the wall to help lay it out perfectly. You see I have to admit after years of hanging pictures frames on the wall I like to think of myself as an expert. Plus I got a level eye like nobody's business which my husband hates, usually makes any of his helping cameos harder than he'd prefer. I am quite happy with the results. Granted this isn't 100% done obviously, because I don't know half the people pictured in these frames. But that's the next part, at least the frames are up! 

 

Oh yeah that big blank spot is for a beautiful family picture 18x24 canvas print. Just need to take the family photo (Hah!)

New mommy again!

Didn't get lost again just a little side tracked. I had my second child one week ago today. So now I have the best of both worlds, a girl and a boy! Will be back with more fun things to share!

Photo shoot!!

Today was the first photo shoot of many to come. When I got a big ol' fancy camera a year ago I promised my husband I wouldn't step foot into a professional studio again, so here we are. One PVC backdrop stand and lots of backdrop fabrics later. It went good.

Don't mind the funny yellow glare, that's a picture of my computer monitor. I'd say we had success today! Getting prepared for a baby photo shoot any day now as soon as he/she pops out!!

Easy Halloween Decor!

One piece of paper, some jute and tulle. 10 minutes of my time and voila! Thank you Teresa Collins. We just moved but I was able to spare this small amount of time to make something personal to decorate for the season!

Day 1: New House

Wow it's been 2 years almost since my last post, and what a whirlwind it has been. My little girl has had two birthdays(Cupcake and Minnie Mouse themes... Pictures to come), we've bought a house and just moved in YESTERDAY, and baby number two is set to make an appearance anywhere in the next 22 days. Lots and lots of things happening around here. 

I thought lots of life changes coming, new house with a blank slate for decorating and design would be the perfect opportunity to start blogging again. I downloaded the handy dandy little blogger app so I can hopefully keep up this time. No more 2 year hiatus. I should have plenty of things to post with all I have going on. So I'm going to start blogging again, about family, everyday life, photography, holiday decorating, party planning/decorating, scrapbooking, home decorating and anything and everything creative in between

So here is my blank slate pictures for today of my new walls that's I have big plans for, including a new color and the scrapbook room pre-organization. 

Happy Holidays...

I am sitting at the computer right now editing and submitting all my Christmas photos of the little one. Thought I should write a quick happy holidays blurb since who knows if I'll get the chance again before the end of the year. Christmas is in 7 days... YIKES!! Today Laurelyn and I had a little Christmas photo shoot... I kept snapping pictures, she kept trying to eat her dress. But in the end I got a picture I am absolutely in love with... and many others that make me laugh.

Family...

I am finally back and now a proud momma to a beautiful daughter. She is so cute, she makes me laugh and swoon everyday. Today I finally got to scrapbook thanks to my awesome husband who took on all duties today besides feeding. I got some organization stuff done and then I got two pages done, well technically three because one was a two page spread. Here was our first family photo...
